Greetings, friend. I'm Alexander, a full-time father, husband, and designer.
My design journey began at 17, sparked by an opportunity from my graphic design teacher. I designed a poster for the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra that was shown all around my hometown, igniting my passion for deisgn. Since that moment, design has felt like a calling, and I have kept following it.
Years later, I find myself thriving as a Product Lead at Quickbase, juggling the realms of leadership, management and IC work.
A short summary of who am I as a person - extroverted, occasionally long-winded dude with a strong interest in building things, combat sports, coffee and nature.
In my personal life, I proudly wear the badge of being a father of 3 beautiful kids, who became one of the clearest reasons for me to exist. Their presence is a testament to the love I share with my equally remarkable wife, who's been beside me for more than 10 years.

July 2023 - Current
Leading UX work at Quickbase across product surfaces, team rituals, and design execution. The role sits between hands-on product design, management, and helping designers grow through sharper critique and clearer product thinking.
July 2022 - July 2023
Worked on Quickbase's Solution Hub and led design for one of the company's largest 2022 initiatives. Partnered across product, engineering, and stakeholder groups to move complex platform work from ambiguity into shippable product decisions.

Helped establish hiring, design research, and design marketing foundations while working across products including bolt.fun, Alby, and BTC Payer.

Designed for staff experience and internal tools, with a focus on operational workflows used by Toptal teams.

Created mobile design systems for iOS and Android, redesigned desktop component systems, and worked on UX research, analytics, usability, user-centered product improvements, and web/UI copy.
